Temple of Love Poem by Sherif Monem

It is raining in my heart The clouds of darkness filling the skies Where is my love? The sad music rings in my ears Where is my love? The chill fills my body Where is my love? The whispers of my love I hear them from far away From a distant land At a temple of love Where to find you my love? Whom to ask? Where I can find the temple of love I walked the long roads I passed the valleys I passed the hills crossed the lands and took to the seas All to find the temple of love Where the lovers sing and chant All praying to find the love they missed Here at the top of the high mountain Behind the tall and shady trees Among the gardens of flowers of roses I hear the singing chorus of lovers I entered the temple of love Here my love is worshiping? To meet me The journey is over I found my love

Poem Vanished Dreams by Sherif Monem

The falling crisp brown leaves Floating down the winding water steam They vanish slowly in front of my eyes Behind the shrub and trees They spark reminder of my vanished dreams The dreams of life that once glowed Then swept away and withered Life marches in front of you like a band The dreams you built crashes down Like a castle you built on sand Vanishes and leave faint pain Dreams were like flashes in a movie screen Depicting the story of your life Time has been told the best remedy The wounded scars will heal Now they adjust to new realities And move safely in vessel of life

Poem the Mountain Rose by Sherif Monem

The mountain rose On my way to the mountain I met a lonely rose hiding in the bushes She smiled and said "good morning" I said you are sweet How much wonderful and charming you are She danced and said "come near me" I said how invigorating fragrance you have She said "come touch me my dear" I said 'Oh', how beautiful your touch? She said "hug me, I am lonely" I got closer and bit closer. I picked her from the branch She said "Oh you killed me darling" Her petals dew was her tears I sighed "no, what I have done"? She sighed and faintly said "Do not cry" Wipe your misty eyes dear The lives of us the roses are too short I looked at her with sorrow I kissed her and hugged her Oh' rose, goodbye

Poem Sunset Goodbye by Sherif Monem

Sunset Goodbye A long day is coming to close The blazing bright sun is taking some rest Paying farewell as the night dominates The sun sinks beyond the horizon The mysterious darkness soon will engulf all The chill of the coming night flirts As the sun departs it wishes us well Hoping we have a peaceful night Feeling pity for us For our struggle in life The darkness slowly invades the shy Sky The sun remaining lights fade away in hurry Soon the moon will shine and give us company The lonely stars fill the sky in great display A bewildering mystery of this universe
