Mountain Rose
On may way to the mountain
I met a lovely rose
She smiled and said 'good morning'
I said how wonderful charm you have!
She danced and said 'come nearer'
I said how beautiful fragrance you have!
She said 'come touch me my dear'
I said 'oh how beautiful touch you have'.
She said 'hug me, I am lonely'.
I got closer and closer.
I picked her from the branch
She said 'oh you killed me darling'
The dew on her petal was her tears
I sighed 'no what I have done'.
She told me 'do not cry'
'Wipe your misty eye's'
''The lives of roses are too short'
I looked at her
kissed her
hugged her
and said 'good bye'
I met a lovely rose
She smiled and said 'good morning'
I said how wonderful charm you have!
She danced and said 'come nearer'
I said how beautiful fragrance you have!
She said 'come touch me my dear'
I said 'oh how beautiful touch you have'.
