Neda Agha Soltani
Young Lady from Tehran
Her Life was robbed from her by a bullet
She was calling for freedom
She was crying for human rights
Twenty six years of springs
Ended in lake of blood
A young lady from Iran
Never heard before by any one
Now she is a hero after she is gone
She had beautiful face like flower
Full of youth, hope and vigour
Life can be taken in a minute
Dreams of long life is ruined
Neda Agha Soltani you left us
Neda Agha Soltani hear our call
You will be in our hearts for ever

Abu al-Qasim al-Shabbi  The Poet of the Tunisia and Egyptian Revolution     At many of the protests in Tunisia, Egypt and elsewhere people have been chanting the verses of a Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al-Shabi .   Uvalde I’m struck with news and views today __ As youth and truth lie dead. Words bruise me in a mad melee __ Of mind-marauding dread. I’m stunned by words, too many heard __ To mull and comprehend— Cacophonies of what occurred __ And why we’ve reached this end. Excuses rise like ghostly smoke __ And choke my waning trust.
