My heart is full of happiness
JiJi is coming back
JiJi is coming back to Me
My joy is over flowing
The sweet flower is back
I will hold her between my arms
The beauty of the world
The love of my heart
JiJi is back
The dark clouds have vanished
The day is bright
The angels I can see
My heart is dancing
My breath is sweltering
JiJi my love is back

Abu al-Qasim al-Shabbi  The Poet of the Tunisia and Egyptian Revolution     At many of the protests in Tunisia, Egypt and elsewhere people have been chanting the verses of a Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al-Shabi .   Uvalde I’m struck with news and views today __ As youth and truth lie dead. Words bruise me in a mad melee __ Of mind-marauding dread. I’m stunned by words, too many heard __ To mull and comprehend— Cacophonies of what occurred __ And why we’ve reached this end. Excuses rise like ghostly smoke __ And choke my waning trust.
