Sailing under the Moon Light
The moon bright and shiny
Cheerful and proud
It warmth the lake in the deep of night
Our white boat is splendor
Sails smoothly under the silver rays
We ride the gentle waves
of the dark bottom lake waters
the gentle breeze tickles our cheeks
the nature beauty is sensational and joy
the hills and the mountains
are hosting tall trees and shrubs
under the dark skies
the moon is our companion
through the night
we embrace nature
and heal our soul

Abu al-Qasim al-Shabbi  The Poet of the Tunisia and Egyptian Revolution     At many of the protests in Tunisia, Egypt and elsewhere people have been chanting the verses of a Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al-Shabi .   Uvalde I’m struck with news and views today __ As youth and truth lie dead. Words bruise me in a mad melee __ Of mind-marauding dread. I’m stunned by words, too many heard __ To mull and comprehend— Cacophonies of what occurred __ And why we’ve reached this end. Excuses rise like ghostly smoke __ And choke my waning trust.
