Girls at the Beach

girls in bikinis

t is summer time
It is fun time

Oh' I like to go to the Beach
Oh' watching the girls strolling by

Laying on the glazing golden sand
Running to the shore

Splashing water at their feet
At the scene of crashing waves

Oh' I like the summer time
When girls wear their beautiful bikinis

Having fun, fun, fun
Playing racket and volley ball

Oh' these precious times at the beach
I enjoy and wish they last for ever

Abu al-Qasim al-Shabbi  The Poet of the Tunisia and Egyptian Revolution     At many of the protests in Tunisia, Egypt and elsewhere people have been chanting the verses of a Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al-Shabi .   Uvalde I’m struck with news and views today __ As youth and truth lie dead. Words bruise me in a mad melee __ Of mind-marauding dread. I’m stunned by words, too many heard __ To mull and comprehend— Cacophonies of what occurred __ And why we’ve reached this end. Excuses rise like ghostly smoke __ And choke my waning trust.
