Gotta hold my stance
And take a chance
"Could I have this dance"

Why we met a mystery
But our love will last eternally
I hope you agree
It was meant to be

My love is true
But only for you

If you left, you would be missed
I would cease to exist
Your love I can't resist

Know for some time
Wished you are mine

Give me a sign
You will be mine

Abu al-Qasim al-Shabbi  The Poet of the Tunisia and Egyptian Revolution     At many of the protests in Tunisia, Egypt and elsewhere people have been chanting the verses of a Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al-Shabi .   Uvalde I’m struck with news and views today __ As youth and truth lie dead. Words bruise me in a mad melee __ Of mind-marauding dread. I’m stunned by words, too many heard __ To mull and comprehend— Cacophonies of what occurred __ And why we’ve reached this end. Excuses rise like ghostly smoke __ And choke my waning trust.
