The Island of man Manhattan has a particular long story
Oh in the early seventeenth century when it all began
When Italian, English and Dutch explorers reached this land
When they first arrived on their ships
They were greeted by the native Lenapi Indians
Sailing the sleek fishing boats from the shore
SYST, NAMES SOome of the names
Wall Street was created to protect the Dutch
from the English and Indians
the beaver fur and the hammock
Historic center for importing slaves from Africa
