Poem Planet Earth Mystery Sherif Monem

Days and night
Season after season
years after years

the mystery of planet earth evolves

We are blessed with air, water and life

Crops, fruits and vegetation

the seeds bring us harvest and fruit trees

A mystery how they endure endless cycle?

 A season after season

Year after year

The air and oxygen makes us breath and survive

All in moderation

The inert gasses in the air

Bring us safety and no fire

The earth orbit

Bring us a climate  that makes us survive

No extreme scorching heat

No extreme cold and planet of ice

What purpose we exist on planet earth?

How we ever started to exist?

life has purpose for our survival

male and female babies and children

generations are born and generations pass by

all mysteries cloaked in big mystery

Oh planet earth

We love you

Keep us safe

The sun, the moon and the stars
look at the planet earth
with admiration and wonderment

We enjoy the planet air
Air, water, food and sunshine

Abu al-Qasim al-Shabbi  The Poet of the Tunisia and Egyptian Revolution     At many of the protests in Tunisia, Egypt and elsewhere people have been chanting the verses of a Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al-Shabi .   Uvalde I’m struck with news and views today __ As youth and truth lie dead. Words bruise me in a mad melee __ Of mind-marauding dread. I’m stunned by words, too many heard __ To mull and comprehend— Cacophonies of what occurred __ And why we’ve reached this end. Excuses rise like ghostly smoke __ And choke my waning trust.
