Hillary Clinton Presidency Ambition

Hillary has great ambition
She wants to be leader of recognition
She dreamed to be president
She ran grueling campaign
She knocked opponents in succession
She met finally with one remaining hurdle
A tough guy from her city of Chicago
His name is Barack Obama
They ran neck to neck for a while
Obama slogan was "Yes We Can"
He mesmerized the crowds
As the race heated
He streaked ahead
He won the race
He won the presidency
Hillary graciously lost
Eight years later
She drumming back
For another run
Facing a no-nonsense fox
His name is Bernie Sanders
They ran neck to neck in Iowa
Now in New Hampshire
He is singing the tunes of big win
What happen next?
We are anxiously watching

Abu al-Qasim al-Shabbi  The Poet of the Tunisia and Egyptian Revolution     At many of the protests in Tunisia, Egypt and elsewhere people have been chanting the verses of a Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al-Shabi .   Uvalde I’m struck with news and views today __ As youth and truth lie dead. Words bruise me in a mad melee __ Of mind-marauding dread. I’m stunned by words, too many heard __ To mull and comprehend— Cacophonies of what occurred __ And why we’ve reached this end. Excuses rise like ghostly smoke __ And choke my waning trust.
