Post 201 Life and Death Twine Poem Sherif Monem

Life and Death are twine and twins
They hang together on a thin thread

A moment there is life
The next moment later

The tune of life seizes
No breath, No heart beat

Life is precarious thing
The lust of life can be tremendous

The shadow of death
May bring fear to the person

As long as there is hope
Life is tremendous

Health and fitness are gems
Precious as crown of gold

The power of survival
Nature has bestowed

You wish you live forever
But time is a grind

Like a rising Sun and shine
Piercing the darkness of night

The farewell rays of sinking sun
Announce the end of the day bright lights

Death is a cup has been tasted by everyone
From the time of immemorial

A cup that was drunk by the powerful
The king and queen, the mighty and tyrant

A common cup with the poor and the rich
The sage, the wise and the foolish one

The tree full of fruits in summer
The bare tree in winter

The garden full of flowers in spring
The wind blowing crisp brown leafs in autumn

The joyful life full of bloom
The shadow of death and the dark clouds

The happy moment of birth and celebration
The time of death the sadness and tears

The fear of death for you
The fear of death of loved ones

Lot of concerns
Lot of worries

Death is Morbid thing
Death no need to dwell on

Through passage of times and ages
The human instinct is to drive away the thought of death

If you enjoy life
You would love to live forever

If life turns sower and showered with pain
You may wish to say goodbye to this world

For the faithful and optimist
There will be another life

With full of pleasure
And blessings of creator
