Aleppo We Groan, Wail Berserkly in Screeching Terror

O G-d, My G-d why have you forsaken me, us, them?
ALEPPO, we groan and wail berserkly with you, our friends!
We slurp and stutter, our crest falls, each of us who sees you shudders
the grim destiny you have inherited by our inaction and cowardice!

Drones dropping bombs provided you not the support you needed.
We encouraging from such distances has made explosions deafening to our cries.
While we bang on Heaven's gate and appeal for Divine Audience,
justice lies dying in the streets and mercy is too long in coming!

ALEPPO We groan feverishly and wail berserkly in mounting screeching terror!
Die not my brother, Syria! Die not dear lady, Aleppo!
Wholeheartedly we will not give you up for lambs to slaughter
to greedy and worthless men we will NOT surrender our darlings!

O Father of Jacob and O Blessed of Abraham...bring archangel and high seraph
bring the Wind of your Spirit and the fire of your Holy One
strengthen ye, strengthen then this people of despair
...weeping may endure for a night
Behold! Joy comes in the morning

Aleppo, we groan, we wail berserkly in screech of terror
and incense and libation offerings we sacrifice before the Holy...
dispel the demon sought conquest and remove this massacring nightmare
from the people of Syria, from the people of Aleppo!

L-rd have mercy! Yeshua have mercy! L-rd have mercy!
