Possession Poem by Saisha Singh Allpoetry Rhythmic
Possession
Have I ever felt this way?
"Oh yeah! It's casual", hollered up my soul!
I know that there's no way,
Except to loose all that I behold.
Thought this time I stroked it right,
But it was just an ordinary flight,
Which was of just a day,
And then with no delay;
came it's end with sweetened voices,
Leaving my head with millions of noises,
Screams n shouts n cries n yells,
Though outside it's all peace with bells.
My fault! I expected a lot too much,
Something I wasn't worth of such.
once again I dreamt of hearts n flowers,
Forgetting I grew with accursed scars,
Again I hanked for the ray of lights,
Forgetting my life was made for nights,
With no sun shining bright,
All I see is beclouded fright,
Feeling secluded here I lie,
Wishing he never passed me by.
his mistake ain't even,
Just a gaffe of my illusion.
Then came out the true expression,
Simply telling I ain't worth that possession.
