There are lovely
There is magic in them
They captures my soul
A fountain of joy 
pouring into my being
When my eyes gazes
and meet your eyes 
I feel euphoria
A world of ecstasy and dreams
Looking at your beautiful eyes
Keeps me wondering
Wishing the time comes still
and the happiness never ends

Abu al-Qasim al-Shabbi  The Poet of the Tunisia and Egyptian Revolution     At many of the protests in Tunisia, Egypt and elsewhere people have been chanting the verses of a Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al-Shabi .   Uvalde I’m struck with news and views today __ As youth and truth lie dead. Words bruise me in a mad melee __ Of mind-marauding dread. I’m stunned by words, too many heard __ To mull and comprehend— Cacophonies of what occurred __ And why we’ve reached this end. Excuses rise like ghostly smoke __ And choke my waning trust.
