Happiness is Garden

Do you want to know
What is happiness? 

It is a world of its own
Hard in few words to describe

Happiness is garden
Filling our hearts

Happiness is peace
Touching your souls

Happiness is laughter 
So soft and sweet

Happiness is living free
No anxiety, agony and hurt

Happiness is living safely
No dangers or shadow of fear

Happiness is a garden
full of flowers and roses

Trees, hills and water streams
A shining sun and gentle breeze


السعادة هي حديقة
هل تريد أن تعرف
ما هي السعادة؟

وعالم من تلقاء نفسها
الثابت في كلمات قليلة لوصف

السعادة الحديقة
ملء قلوبنا

السعادة هي السلام
لمس النفوس الخاصة بك

السعادة هي الضحك
حتى لينة وحلوة

السعادة هي الحياة الحرة
لم القلق والعذاب والأذى

السعادة هي العيش بأمان
لا توجد مخاطر أو الظل من الخوف

هابينسس حديقة
مليئة بالزهور والورود

التلال والأشجار ومجاري المياه
تسطع الشمس ونسيم لطيف

Abu al-Qasim al-Shabbi  The Poet of the Tunisia and Egyptian Revolution     At many of the protests in Tunisia, Egypt and elsewhere people have been chanting the verses of a Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al-Shabi .   Uvalde I’m struck with news and views today __ As youth and truth lie dead. Words bruise me in a mad melee __ Of mind-marauding dread. I’m stunned by words, too many heard __ To mull and comprehend— Cacophonies of what occurred __ And why we’ve reached this end. Excuses rise like ghostly smoke __ And choke my waning trust.
