It is the First Day of Summer
It is June twenty first
This year of two thousands and nine
The sun rises early
The sun sets late
The day longest in the year
For lovely northern hemisphere.
It is fun time
You can go to the beach
You can go to the mountain
You can go to the lake
You can have summer picnic
You can have barbeque.
Join Friends
Enjoy the summer
it is wonderful part of the year

Abu al-Qasim al-Shabbi  The Poet of the Tunisia and Egyptian Revolution     At many of the protests in Tunisia, Egypt and elsewhere people have been chanting the verses of a Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al-Shabi .   Uvalde I’m struck with news and views today __ As youth and truth lie dead. Words bruise me in a mad melee __ Of mind-marauding dread. I’m stunned by words, too many heard __ To mull and comprehend— Cacophonies of what occurred __ And why we’ve reached this end. Excuses rise like ghostly smoke __ And choke my waning trust.
