Sherif Monem Poem the Pond

In life one seeks happiness

One seeks beauty

One seeks thrill

Nature is a companion and ever well

I love ponds

A serene peaceful part of nature

I admire and get mesmerized

The pond is tranquil and a haven

The ducks love it and swim on a row

The trees around it

guard it's beauty

The birds of all species fly above

The fish silver, gold and all call it their home

The pond in spring and summer is a paradise

One can swim, ride in a canoe, sail in a boat

Taste the pleasures

In winter the rain pours

The snow is abound

The white snowflakes glitter

The flurries keep coming

Spreading tender kisses of nature

The winter very cold days

tell a new story

The pond have finally succumbed

no waves, no movement, no motion, no sign of life

The white sheet of ice covers the pond

A new dress from nature

When it is all over

A great celebration

The seasons of the year parade in an elegant procession

The spring, the summer and lovely fall

Oh how beautiful the foliage

at the lovely pond

Oh, Oh, Oh

I love the ponds
