Poem I feel I am falling in love
I feel I am falling in love
You are in my mind all the time
There is something called love fever
When I loose sleep about you all night
When your image flirts and follows
When I miss sourly your presence
When I yearn to be with you every moment
When the thoughts of your laughter
rings in my ears
Your smiles and cheers
The merry times we spent together
The dreams float around
The bonds of love will tie us
So happily forever

Abu al-Qasim al-Shabbi  The Poet of the Tunisia and Egyptian Revolution     At many of the protests in Tunisia, Egypt and elsewhere people have been chanting the verses of a Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al-Shabi .   Uvalde I’m struck with news and views today __ As youth and truth lie dead. Words bruise me in a mad melee __ Of mind-marauding dread. I’m stunned by words, too many heard __ To mull and comprehend— Cacophonies of what occurred __ And why we’ve reached this end. Excuses rise like ghostly smoke __ And choke my waning trust.
